One Potato, Two Potatoes
One potato, two potatoes,
Three potatoes, four,
Five potatoes, six potatoes,
Seven potatoes, more!
One Banana, Two Bananas
One banana, two bananas,
Three bananas, more
Four bananas, five bananas,
Six bananas, more.
Seven bananas, eight bananas,
Nine bananas, more
Ten yellow bananas!
One, Two
One, Two
I go to school
Three, Four
I play outdoor
Five, Six
I read my books
Seven, Eight
I am never late
Nine, Ten
I sleep by then.
Ten Red Apples
Here I have five apples.
(hold up five fingers on right hand)
And here are five again.
(hold up both hands)
How many apples altogether?
Why, five and five make ten!
Counting poem
Now will you
Count to two?
Count to three
Just like me:
One, two, three!
Count to eight,
Don't be late!
Count to nine
That is fine
And we then
Count to ten.
Rhyme with numbers
One, two, three, four, five
Once I caught a fish alive,
Six, seven, eight, nine,ten,
Then I let go again.
Why did you let it go?
Because it bit my finger so.
Which finger did it bite?
This little finger on the right.
Turtles
One baby turtle alone and new.
Finds a friend, and then there are two.
Two baby turtles crawl down to the sea.
They find another, and then there are three.
Three baby turtles crawl along the shore.
They find another, and then there are four.
Four baby turtles go for a dive.
Up swims another, and then there are five.
One, Two, Buckle My Shoe
One, two
Buckle my shoe,
Three, four
Open on the door,
Five, six
Pick up sticks,
Seven, eight
Lay them straight,
Nine, ten
A good fat hen,
Eleven, twelve
Dig and delve,
Thirteen, fourteen
Maids a-courting,
Fifteen, sixteen
Maids in the kitchen,
Seventeen, eighteen
Maids a-waiting,
Nineteen, twenty
My plate's empty.
I Can Count
I can count, want to see?
Here's my fingers- one, two, three (Hold up fingers as you count)
Four and five, this hand is done.
Now I'll count the other one.
Six, seven, eight and nine (Hold up fingers on other hand)
Just one more, I'm doing fine.
The last little finger is number ten.
Now I'll count them all again.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!
Halloween Counting Poem
One, two,
The kids say, "Boo!"
Three, four,
Knock on the door.
Five, six,
Bag of tricks.
Seven, eight,
Getting late.
Nine, ten,
A dressed-up friend.
Halloween is here again!
